The 9th Annual Gary International Black Film Festival opens Friday, October 11, 2019 at Indiana University's Bergland Auditorium in Savannah Hall, featuring a Red Carpet Reception with food, music and cash bar, kicking off a dynamic cultural weekend of film, theater and so much more!

FRIDAY, October 11

2 PM - Digging for Weldon Irvine

2 PM - Red, Hot & Blues: Shorts Showcase 1

RED CARPET RECEPTION @6PM | #TRUTH – OPENING NIGHT FILM

Kick off Opening Night with a Red Carpet Reception with food, music and cash bar @ 6pm Followed by the Gary premiere of #TRUTH, written and Directed by Gary Roosevelt alum, Hollywood veteran Charles Murray (Luke Cage, Sons of Anarchy) #Truth is a powerful story of shaming, lies and secrets.
